My trip to the Fairy Congress
I had so much fun on my trip to speak at the Fairy and Human Relations Congress! Here is a mini-travelogue of my trip:
Disclaimer: I am terrible at remembering to take pictures! (And you may find my choice of subjects odd at times!)
I decide to fly up to Seattle a day early, and the plane was packed!
I checked in to a hotel right by the airport, and the next morning I got a ride to the Fairy Congress from my new friend Diana. (The Fairy Congress helps everyone connect with others to share rides, isn’t that nice?!)
We drove five hours through the Cascade Mountains to get to the Methow Valley where the Fairy Congress takes place.
It was so awesome to be in this beautiful place!
I loved meeting some of our telesummit speakers in person, and I also got to meet some wonderful people from our Guardian Gateway community. Below are (from left to right) Diomira Rose D’Agostino, Jeremy Berg, Soren Hauge, and Michael Dunning from our Faery Allies Telesummit.
(I had to get these from Soren’s Facebook page. See! I’m terrible at remembering to take pictures!)
I got to stay in The Bermhouse, a building built into the hillside, and our Tree Telesummit speaker Michelle McKinney was one of my roommates.
On Saturday I gave my workshop to help people connect with their Dragon Allies. I got to hold the workshop in the perfect place:
I SO appreciated Michael “Skeeter” Pilarski for being at the center of all the hard work, love, and dedication that brings this event to life every year!
I made friends with an awesome lady named Suzanne, and on Sunday afternoon she gave me a ride back through the mountains, this time on a magnificent route. We stopped for lunch next to the Methow river, we saw a gorgeous lake, and we even saw snow!
(Many who attended the Dragon workshop asked if I had a program covering this material, so click here if you’d like to find out about my Dragon’s Angels, & Unicorns 6-Week Personal Program!)
