Lesley Morrison has been a lifelong bird enthusiast and animal lover, exploring animals in their multicultural contexts for over 15 years. Her studies in anthropology furthered her fascination with avian life and their unique contributions to human evolution and culture. Today she continues to rescue and aid wildlife as she incorporates nature’s most ancient teachings into her writing career. She currently calls the diverse and beautiful Vancouver Island home and resides there with her daughter and their growing cat and rabbit family.
